Yes, you will still be able to access library resources online during a TouroOne outage by using your library account. When you go to log into OpenAthens, choose the second option: "NYMC Library Account," and use your library account credentials to log in.

If you haven't created a library account yet, you can do so by going to the Access Services desk in the library or calling or emailing the library at +1 (914) 594-2000 or hsl_nymc@nymc.edu respectively.

In addition to accessing the library during a TouroOne outage, here are some other good reasons to consider creating a library account:

  • You can borrow books, journals, and more. You can also place holds on items.
  • You can create reading or reference lists for different research projects.
  • You can suggest an item for purchase.
