Q. How do I reset my EndNote password/ synchronize EndNote Web and Desktop?

To update or reset your password:

Go to EndNote Web and select 'Forgot Password?'
Follow the instructions on the next page to generate a reset password email.

To synchronize EndNote Web and EndNote Desktop:

Mac OS

Open your EndNote desktop library
Click on EndNote in the top menu bar (beside the Apple icon) and select Settings or Preferences....
Select Sync from the menu
Enter your new EndNote password in the credentials box
Click Save or OK.

PC OS

Open your EndNote desktop library
Click Edit in the top menu and select Preferences
Click Sync on the left side of the window
Enter the email address and password for your EndNote Online account (optional)
Check the Sync Automatically box if you want your library to update regularly in the background
Click Apply and then OK
